President David Granger last evening told a gathering at the home of Guyana’s Consul-General in Barbados, Michael Brotherson that if national independence and regional integration are upheld, Guyana can overcome the territorial issue with neighbouring Venezuela.

GINA said today that the President and Foreign Affairs Minister Carl Greenidge were Guests of Honour at a reception hosted at the diplomat’s Barbadian residence to welcome the Guyana delegation attending the 36th Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of the Caribbean Community.
