GPL burglar gets 12 months after guilty plea

Simon Primo, who was charged late last year with burglarising a Guyana Power and Light Inc. (GPL) facility, was yesterday sentenced to 12 months in jail after he changed his plea and admitted his guilt.

Primo, a labourer, of Lot 27 Alliance Road, Timehri, decided to enter a guilty plea when he appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman yesterday.
