Regent Street garbage dump? Some Regent Street business owners have complained about the presence of silt that has been sitting in front of their entities since they returned to work on Tuesday. One store manager said she was told that Mayor and City Council workers had cleaned the drains, and left the silt they removed right there. The manager related that when a request was made to Puran Brothers Garbage disposal service, they were told that they had to pay to have the garbage removed.
The woman added that the presence of the silt is unsightly and gives off a stench. She is asking the relevant authorities to execute their duties and have the silt removed.
