Mark Xavier, Faizal Khan and Frank `English’ Parris have been relieved of their Golden Jaguars management duties last week according to a source within the GFF’s Normalization Committee.
The source, who spoke on a condition of anonymity, told Stabroek Sport yesterday that the hushed sacking of the trio came in the aftermath of “logistical mishaps in encampment,” but also stemmed from the passport issues involving English quartet Matthew Briggs, Neil Danns, Sam Cox and Marcel Barrington. During the start of the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers, the four overseas-born players were unable to travel due to their inability to acquire citizenship.
