Repeat offender gets 48 months for stabbing man in eye

Levi Williams was handed a 48-month jail sentence yesterday after pleading guilty to stabbing another man in his eye.

Williams, who was only recently released from prison after serving a year for a similar attack, was charged with wounding Jermaine Sampson with the intent to maim, disfigure, disable, or cause him actual bodily harm.

The attack took place on June 17th, at D’Urban Backlands, Georgetown and resulted in Sampson being hospitalised
