Delegates for the Miss Emancipation 2015 pageant, which was launched last Saturday at the Museum of African Heritage, at Bel Air Park. The pageant is being held under the theme, “The decade for people of African Descent.” The delegates vying to be crowned are Akelia Dey, Jade Primo, Jalicia Thompson, Zineoby Ward, Vonette Peters, Deon Alleyne and Keisha Jackson, according to a press statement from the Miss Emancipation Committee.
