A 58-year-old man is in a critical condition at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) after an alleged drunk driver struck him down on Friday. The driver is currently in custody.
Ganganan Dhanraj was walking on the left side of the road at the Anna Regina New Housing Scheme, when he was struck down, his son Lalchand Dhanraj said.
