Minister of Legal Affairs and Attorney General Basil Williams on Monday received the People’s Republic of China’s Ambassador to Guyana Zhang Limin at the Attorney General’s Chambers.
A release from the AG’s Chambers said that the Chinese Ambassador paid the courtesy call to congratulate the Attorney General on his appointment as Minister of Legal Affairs. The discussions focused on the longstanding diplomatic relationship of over four decades between Guyana and China with the Ambassador pledging his country’s continued support towards Guyana’s development while offering assistance to the Ministry of Legal Affairs in areas of training and strengthening of the judiciary.
