United Nations Development Pro-gramme’s (UNDP) Assistant Administrator and Director for the Regional Bureau for Latin America and the Caribbean, Jessica Faieta, discussed areas of cooperation with Minister of Governance, Raphael Trotman during a courtesy call yesterday, at his Brickdam office.
A release from the Ministry of the Presidency said that Trotman told the UNDP team that with the oil and exploration activities being undertaken in the country, Guyana is looking for best practice approaches from a country which has characteristics to help guide the development of the sector. He specifically cited the area of the drafting of contracts.
