Brothers charged with stealing boat, engine in North West attack

The two men who police say stole a boat and an engine during an early morning attack at Mabaruma, North West District, were yesterday charged with robbery and remanded to prison.

It is alleged that on Friday, July 31st, 2015, brothers Levi and Aidan Boyer robbed Jonathan Hutson of a wooden boat and a 200 horse-power Yamaha engine, worth $4.2 million in total. It was also alleged that they used personal violence against the on-duty security guard during the attack.
