In keeping with the Police Force’s Social Crime Prevention Initiative which is on stream in all the Police Divisions with particular focus on youths of the various communities, and which is also aimed at strengthening police community relationship, the Police “F” Division (Interior Locations) launched a three-week community project at Itaballi, Mazaruni, a release from the police said today.
The project was launched by Divisional Commander Senior Superintendent Ravindradat Budhram in the community on Sunday August 02, 2015, and involves sixty four (64) youths between the ages of seven and seventeen years who are attached to the Purple Heart Police Youth Group.
