Corentyne butcher charged over shallow grave murder

A young Corentyne butcher was on Monday charged with the murder of farmer Henry Lallman, who was found in a shallow grave last Thursday.

Asif Hamid, 21, of Corriverton, Berbice, was not required to plead to the charge after it was read to him by the Magistrate Rabindranauth Singh.
