A construction worker has been told that he will be bedridden for at least six months as he slowly recuperates from injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident last Sunday.
Carl Vyphuis, 30, of Berbice, broke his right leg in four places. He said the doctors told him that he will be unable to walk for at least six months as they are waiting for some of the injuries to heal before performing corrective surgeries. The accident occurred at about 7PM on Sunday, at Vryheid Street, New Amsterdam, Berbice.
