A labourer was yesterday sentenced to two years in jail after he admitted to stealing from a grocery.
Deepak Rameshwar Ramjattan, 26, of Albion, Berbice, was accused of breaking and entering the grocery of Phillip Fredrick, between August 3rd and August 4th, 2015, at Timehri, and stealing a quantity of items and cash, valued $62,000.
The man pleaded guilty to the charge when he appeared before Magistrate Leron Daly at the Providence
