A woman is now dead after she was struck off a motorcycle at Eccles by a driver who fled and left her and her injured companion on Wednesday night.
Police said Latoya Thompson, 27, of Craig, East Bank Demerara, was the pillion rider on the motorcycle, which was hit when a driver failed to stop at the traffic light. Thompson was subsequently pronounced dead on arrival
