US House of Representatives delegation visits  

Vice President and Prime Minister, Moses Nagamootoo (second from left) and Minister of Governance, Raphael Trotman (left) received a delegation from the U.S House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs comprising Mark Walker, Sadaf Khan and Tom Alexander. The meeting took place in the Committee Room of Parliament Buildings. The delegation was accompanied by Charge d’ Affaires of the US Embassy, Bryant Hunt (second from right). GINA said that the two sides reaffirmed the strong bonds between the United States and the Republic of Guyana, and expressed confidence that cooperation between the two States will deepen.
