Save Abee donates to GPHC

The Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) says that the Save Abee (Save Us) foundation yesterday donated a quantity of medical supplies to the hospital.

Dr. Aftaab Aliahmad, a representative of the foundation handed over the supplies to the GPHC’s Chief Executive Officer, Michael Khan, a release from the GPHC said. Upon receiving the items, Khan expressed gratitude to the organisation and said the donation will go a long way in helping the hospital to provide quality health care to patients.

The items which were donated are: lamps, bed pans, gloves, bed linens glucose testers, blood pressure testers, nebulisers and a CPAP machine.

Save Abee, is a non-profit organization registered in the USA, and currently in the process of obtaining a non-profit status in Guyana and Canada.
