The Lions Club of Central Demerara last evening presented cash bursaries to the four top SSEE students from East Bank Demerara public schools at its Providence Den and Civic centre.
A release from the club said that the annual activity which began in 1997,this year honoured Marie Celine Farinha and Ethan Chinapen of Peters Hall Primary who attend Queen’s College, Lloyd Amir Daly of Covent Garden Primary who attends Bishops’ High and Ishmael Tang of St. Mary’s Primary who is attending St. Stanislaus College.
