Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo met with staff of the Government Information Agency (GINA) this morning. GINA said that he thanked the staff for the work they have been doing and urged that they continue to provide the public with information on Government activities.
The Prime Minister, who was behind the setting up of the Government Information Service, the precursor to the Government Information Agency, recalled the days when the Agency was used to promote the ruling political party and urged staff to be mindful not to fall into such practices. He further urged all staff to conduct themselves and execute their work in a professional manner at all times.
