Ramjattan urges public to take advantage of gun amesty

Minister of Public Security, Khemraj Ramjattan, has expressed his satisfaction with the gun amnesty initiative so far but, he continues to plead with Guyanese in possession of illegal guns and ammunition to surrender these as the amnesty period is swiftly coming to a close at the end of this month, GINA reported today.

Ramjattan was speaking at CID HQ, Eve Leary today where the guns handed in so far were inspected.
