A Kitty man accused of breaking into a woman’s home and stealing, among other items, her underwear and slippers, was yesterday sentenced to 12 months in jail after changing his plea.
Mark Peters, 40, had initially pleaded not guilty to the charge which stated on September 7, he broke and entered the house of Susan Haley, and stole a hair dryer, a curling iron, a pair of underwear, a gas bottle, a pair of sunglasses, a wallet, a helmet, six pieces of cloth, a pair of slippers and a Bath and Body works set.
