Minister of Social Cohesion, Amna Ally, yesterday attended the Guyana Equality Forum’s Peace Day, Novelty Sports and Health Fair organised by the Society Against Sexual Orientation Discrimination (SASOD), in collaboration with the United States Embassy and the Peace Corps. The event was held at the Eve Leary Sports Ground in commemoration of International Day of Peace.
The Minister in her remarks, according to a Ministry of the Presidency release, hailed the Guyana Equality Forum and its partners for promoting health and well-being, encouraging youth participation and civil engagement and advancing human rights and equality for all Guyanese.
