The Mayor and City Council is mulling transforming the usually busy and traffic-congested commercial Bourda block into a designated open air shopping centre.
In the statement issued by the M&CC on Monday, Town Clerk Royston King said that while the idea is still young in its conception, continuous drainage and desilting work is ongoing in the Bourda/ Lacytown area and should be completed soon. Cleaning will also be done by the M&CC through Bourda Street to Cummings Street,
