The Regional Democratic Council of Region Four yesterday organised tree planting exercises ahead of today’s observance of National Tree Day. Two planting exercises were conducted at the Red Ground at Timehri, East Bank Demerara, and at the Golden Grove Community Playground. Regional Chairperson Genevieve Allen said seven trees were planted at the Timehri ground and another eight were planted at Golden Grove.
