Defending champions Stella Maris, Enterprise Primary, West Ruimveldt and St. Angela’s recorded opening day wins when the fourth annual Petra Organisation/Courts Pee-Wee Under-11 football event began yesterday.
Hosted at the Thirst Park ground, Enterprise Primary got their campaign off to the perfect start, crushing Winfer Garden 7-0. Martin King opened the scoring in the fourth minute, striking his effort from the right side of the box into the centre of the net.
