An early morning crash at North Road and New Garden Street yesterday resulted in one of the cars bursting into flames. According to an eyewitness, the white Toyota Corolla, PJJ 7553, was proceeding cautiously west along North Road. At the New Garden Street intersection, a Blue Toyota Spacio, PNN 2152, darted into its path, resulting in the white car hitting it, then spinning out of control. As the driver of the white car quickly exited, the vehicle started to smoke and then burst into flames. The fire service arrived some 10 minutes after but could not save the vehicle which was completely incinerated. Luckily no one was injured.
