Minister of Agriculture, Noel Holder has reassured hundreds of farmers and agriculture stakeholders that efforts will be intensified to have a Praedial Larceny Bill taken to Parliament very shortly.
GINA said that speaking at the opening of the eighth annual livestock exhibition of the West Berbice Sheep and Goat Farmers Association (WBSGA), held at the Norman Singh Memorial Turf Club, No. 6 Village, West Coast Berbice, yesterday, Holder told the gathering that sheep and goat rearing is not only a traditional activity for Region Five, but also an opportunity to earn additional income.
