A bus conductor was yesterday denied bail after appearing at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court charged with robbing a police constable.
Euchand Frank, 28, of Lot 39 Cross Street, Werk-en-Rust, was accused of robbing the constable of a cellphone valued $30,000 and $10,000 cash. The incident, during which Frank was said to be armed with a knife, occurred on October 24th at Hadfield Street.
