President praises Fyrish medical outreach

While on an outreach to the East Berbice/Corentyne region on Sunday President David Granger visited the Fyrish Health Centre where he met with a team of sixteen doctors from the United States of America who are part of a medical mission to Guyana.

GINA said that the medical mission is an annual event which caters to the needs of villagers at Fyrish and surrounding communities.

The team provides free consultations, diagnostic checks and treatment for a variety of ailments. When required, surgeries are performed by team members at the New Amsterdam Hospital. GINA said that the medical mission was lauded by President Granger.
