Local Telecommunications provider Digicel and the Lusignan Golf Club (LGC) yesterday officially launched their 2015 Digicel Guyana Open Golf 2-day competition which will tee off tomorrow at the Lusignan Golf Course.
The ceremony was held at Digicel’s Barrack Street Head Office in the presence of media operatives along with LGC President Oncar Ramroop, Club Captain Chatterpaul Deo, Club Public Relations Officer, Guy Griffith, Digicel Senior Sponsorship Executive Louanna Abrams, and Communications Manager Vidya Sanichara along with overseas and local golfers.
Abrams expressed Digicel’s satisfaction with the company’s involvement and commitment to LGC’s initiative of the development and growth of golf in the country, while for his part Ramroop thanked Digicel for its continued support and sponsorship of the sport. Both indicated delight at
