A new champion will be crowned in the fourth annual Courts Pee-Wee Under-11 football championship as Enterprise, St. Angela’s, West Ruimveldt and St Pius clinched semi-final berths yesterday at the Thirst Park venue. Enterprise Primary sent holders Stella Maris packing as they won by a 3-1 score line in their quarterfinal matchup.
In a rematch of the earlier group showdown which was won 3-0 by Enterprise, the Woolford Avenue side drew first blood as they netted in the 10th minute as a Jayden Pitt strike from the left side of the box, deflected off the leg of Martin King and settled into the back of the net.
