On Saturday, the Commissioner of Police Seelall Persaud and a team on behalf of the Guyana Police Force invited the visiting members of the New York Police Department to be guests of honour at the Police Officers Mess, Eve Leary.
The reception was organized by the hierarchy of the Force and was described as an historic event since it was the first time such a function was held at the Officers Mess for ranks of the New York Police Department.
