The country’s most recent road fatality, Julian Leitch was on his way to watch the Diwali Motorcade on Tuesday when he was fatally struck down on Duncan Street.
This is according to a sister of the deceased, who spoke with Stabroek News last evening. The sister, who opted to remain unnamed related that Leitch, 47, was last seen at around 6:00 hrs by his mother just before leaving the Lot ‘C’ Lama Avenue, Bel Air Park residence he shared with his parents. She explained that Leitch had spent the entire day home but later left the house with the intention of going to see the annual Diwali Motorcade when he was struck down by a vehicle driven by attorney Keshia Chase.
