A rights activist in Berbice was on Tuesday night robbed at gunpoint by a lone gunman.
Miriam Edwards was relieved of a quantity of jewellery and cash at her Fort Ordnance Housing Scheme residence.
Edwards recalled that at around 8.15 pm, she was sitting on her verandah when a young man entered her yard. She said the youth, whom she believed was a teenager, approached her and placed a gun to her back before directing her to walk into the house. She was also instructed to be
