The two women arrested after the remains of a baby was found buried in a small grave. at La Bonne Intention (LBI), East Coast Demerara. were to be placed on bail yesterday after a post-mortem examination proved inconclusive.
Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum told this newspaper that the investigation into the matter continues and the women would be placed on bail. Up to late yesterday afternoon, he was unable to confirm if they had been released.
