Greens vendor shot in Albouystown robbery

An East La Penitence greens vendor ended up with three gunshot wounds to his right leg last evening when he was attacked outside of his cousin’s Albouystown home and robbed of the day’s sales.

Stall owner Anita Arjune said that she was at her home waiting for her cousin, Ramrattan, 46, when he was attacked in front of her house just as he was about to enter the yard.

The men, who were masked at the time, were both armed with handguns, Arjune stated.

Arjune explained that she sells at the stall during the morning and Ramrattan sells in the afternoon.
