Guyana Jaguars romp to third straight outright win

Shamarh Brooks’ half-century gave the Pride hope.

Gudakesh Motie’s match haul of 9-98 and Vishaul Singh’s first innings 121 helped the Guyana Jaguars break a 31-year curse on home soil when they handed the Barbados Pride a resounding nine-wicket loss, roaring to their third consecutive win when round three of the 2015/16 WICB/PCL Regional 4-Day Tournament wrapped up yesterday at Providence. The 20-year-old Berbician, who claimed 6-79 in the second innings, broke the backs of the Pride’s innings.

He had taken 3-29 in the first innings following up on his 11-105 in the previous match with another fine exhibition of spin bowling.
