The mother of Denilson Rose, the 17-year-old who died after he was allegedly hit down and dragged some distance by a member of the Guyana Police Force in October, is hoping that the person responsible for her son’s death will be brought to justice soon.
Rose, of Lot 15 Nooitgedacht, Linden, was reportedly left to die along the Washer Pond Road after the driver fled.
The police, in a statement on the accident, which occurred on October 24th, had stated that Rose was walking along the Washer Pond Road around 3:30 am when he was hit by a speeding car, bearing the number plate PRR 6503. The driver was subsequently arrested and a
