A 55-year-old man is now on remand after he was slapped with two charges of breaking and entering and one charge of escaping police custody.
According to the charges read by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan, between December 1 and 3, at Grove Public Road, East Bank Demerara, Mark Macalman broke and entered the Action Tyre Outlet and stole 9 gallons of paint valued at $54,000, a 100 ft drop cord, valued at $18,200, 20 pounds construction tape,
