A miner is now a remanded prisoner after police say he was caught with drugs during a search in the interior.
The charges against Shawn David state that on February 14, at Puruni Landing, Mazaruni, he had 9 grammes of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking in his possession as well as 196 grammes of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.
