The man who lost his life on Saturday night after he crashed into a tree was identified yesterday.
Stabroek News had reported that the man was speeding along the Letter ‘T’, Mahaicony Public Road when he lost control of his car and ran off the road, crashing head-on into a tree. He was rushed to the Mahaicony Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
A police press release yesterday gave the man’s identity as 37-year-old Derwin Gordon, of Zeskenderen, Mahaicony.
