A man was on Friday remanded to prison on a charge of attempted murder, although his lawyer claimed that he had provided evidence to the police that he was elsewhere at the time.
Abdool Karim was remanded by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan after being read a charge of discharging a loaded firearm with the intent to commit murder.
