Lakeram Harry Narine was yesterday charged with the murder of his common-law wife Hafeeza Rohoman, whose badly decomposed body was found in a trench just over a week ago.
The court heard that Narine, 23, of Lot 56 Helena, Mahaica, East Coast Demerara, murdered Rohoman at Helena, between January 7 and January 10. Narine was not required to plead to the charge.
