Gayadin triumphs at Safeway Security-sponsored golf tournament

Mike Gayadin Saturday emerged the winner of the Safeway Security sponsored one-day golf tournament at the Lusignan Golf Course.

Gayadin, playing with a handicap of 15, ended with a net 65 from a gross Score of 80.

Second and third positions went to brothers Roy and Andre Cummings.

Roy Cummings playing with a handicap of 11 ended with a net score of 68 following his gross of 79 while Andre ended with net score of 68 from a gross score of 85 and a handicap of 16.

Roy Cummings ended with the best gross while LGC Vice-President, Patrick Prashad was the Nearest to the Pin winner.

Managing Director of Safeway Security, Eon Caesar distributed the prizes and congratulated the winners.

In brief remarks, Caesar said that he was happy to see the level of the sport continue to rise.

LGC President, Oncar Ramroop, called for assistance in

fixing the poor condition of the road which leads to the course.

He expressed gratitude to Caesar for the good support the club has received from the company and also extended greetings to all the club members and their families, wishing them abundance of health and lots of golfing in 2016.
