Cops still to locate suspect in fatal harbour bridge shooting

The police are yet to apprehend the man who fatally shot Trevon April on the Demerara Harbour Bridge three weeks ago although they had managed to obtain surveillance footage that captured his image. April, 32, called ‘Trevy,’ of Patrick’s Dam, Angoy’s Avenue, New Amsterdam, Berbice, was shot dead on the evening of December 26 last year following an argument in a minibus on the bridge.

Another person, Rudolph Williams, 28, of Lot 3 ‘B’ Blankenburg, West Coast Demerara (WCD), was injured in the shooting.
