Marked decreases in the level of water in the East Demerara Water Conservancy (EDWC) has resulted in the Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) appealing to customers to use this resource conservatively.
In press releases, the GWI has been repeating its pleas to customers to adopt more sustainable water use practices by reiterating steps residents can take to conserve water.
