Sophia teen, Anthony Patterson, who in December admitted to carrying out an armed robbery and was sentenced to two years in prison, was yesterday convicted on another count of the charge.
As a result, an additional two-year sentence, which will run concurrently with the other, was handed down by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan after Patterson expressed his desire to change his plea. The defendant’s guilty plea came yesterday near the end of his trial, when time came for him to lead his defence.
