The Maritime Administration Department’s (MARAD) Hydrographic Surveyor, Darrell Fraser, age 22yrs, left Guyana in June 2015, and returned on December 20th, 2015 after successfully completing training in “Hydrography For Charting and Disaster Management” in Japan.
The training was fully sponsored by the Government of Japan through the Japan International Co-operation Agency’s (JICA) International Co-operation Programme in collaboration with the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) and the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
