Ambassador Perry Holloway met with Guyanese social worker Shaundell Shipley who recently returned from the United States after participating in the Embassy-sponsored International Visitor Leadership (IVLP) exchange programme – “Children in the U.S. Justice System” from January 11 – 29, 2016. Shipley is the Programme Manager of Blossom Inc. and has been involved in child advocacy and community building work since 2005. Blossom Inc. is a non-governmental organization that partners with the Childcare and Protection Agency as part of the Ministry of Social Protection to provide services of a Child Advocacy Center in Regions 2 and 4.
