The Region Four School Choir emerged victorious yesterday when the Ministry of Education-hosted chorale competition ‘Salute to Guyana’ concluded at the National Cultural Centre.
Pitting their vocals against 10 other choirs from the other nine administrative regions and Georgetown District, the winning group sang “Song of the Republic” and a medley of folk songs.
Coming in at second position was Region Ten with “Guyana the Free” and “Kuma Kuma Fish.” Georgetown District took third place with a
